These are all elements that make the essence of New York City. Whoever has not been in New York City should definitely put it on their places to visit list. New York is one of the most sublime cities in this world, the city for dreamers. Its people, its culture, its architecture and vibe, allure the forty million visitors it receives every year.

Le’ Marie has recently visited it for ten days to attend The Costume Institute’s Exhibition at The MET, Savage Beauty, in retrospective of Alexander McQueen’s Career, as well as other personal affairs.

New York is the epicentre in the creation of several movements in the United States that had a major impact in the world. It’s the centre of a Global Art Market since the government invests largely in its annual budget. It contains the most exquisite art galleries in the world, museums, theatre, as well as music, film and architecture.

The scene is composed of several neighbourhoods like the western part of Chelsea, which has become a center of the New York art world, with many art galleries located in both new buildings and rehabilitated warehouses. There is also The Meatpacking District that was generally known back in the days as the Slaughter House, but now it is considered New York’s Most Fashionable Neighbourhood currently holding the names of many important fashion design houses and nightclubs as well as the Most Innovative aerial Park in Manhattan, The New York Highline.  There is so much to say about this city that it would not last a post but a few to tell you how exciting it is.
